The Metropolitan Life Insurance Building

The Metropolitan life insurance company tower was first started being constructed in 1893 and was completed in1909. The building was created by napleon Lebrun and sons. The Metroploitan life insurance building stands 700 feet high and 213 meters high. The building has 52 floors. The building was inspirde by " The campanile in venice, Italy in 1907. The building was made with tuckahoe marble but during its renovation they used plain lime stone. I liked the building becuse it was pretty and the clock caught my attention. I love watching the tower at night becuse of the colorful lights it has.
